Review of Transcription and Translation

To make protein:
The DNA starts off inside of the nucleas. The DNA gets a signal. Then, the DNA uses transcription to make the mRNA. The mRNA then goes to the ribosome. The tRNA carries molecules to the ribosome to make protein. The tRNA is paired up with amino acids. The pairing starts off at the letters AUG. The process of making protein is called Translation.

a segment of DNA is called a gene. The finished product is called a protein.
